Glass City Investigations
Pitching duel between GCI"S Jim Van Brandt and Harvard's Ron Fox for the first three innings. Then GCI's got some key hits and pulled away going into last inning. Key defensive plays by Bobby Collins and Joe Stiefer as well as Kim Crosby playing a great outfield held Harvard down. Kevin Cagle and Jerry Glanzman and Mark Vonderomse had key singles. Doug Meek helped out as a pool player and had three hits.

Harvard Barber Shop
After 3 innings with neither team scoring, both teams finally put runs on the board in the 4th. Glass City pulled away to down the Barbers 9-6. Led by Dann Schlenbaker 3/3, Smith, Fox and Coralan all 2/3.



Citizens Advisory 26, Krieger Realty 13


Citizens Advisory
After falling behind 5-1 in the 1st inning, CAG scored 23 runs in the next 5 innings. Everyone had at least 2 hits and scored a run. Mark Gedert had a great game at 3rd base defensively and went 3/3 at the plate. Bill Bray was 3/4 with a grand slam home run,. Bill Green was 4/5 and plaedy good defense up the middel. Also having a good hitting night were Dave Craemer 5/5, Rob Ravin 3/4, Phil Vrzal 3/4,, Mike Nidek 3/4 and Don Dheel 3/4.



Rudy's Hot Dog 11, Guardian Angels 10


Guardian Angels
In the first game the Guardian Angels & Rudy's Hotdog had to finish a rainout tied at 9 to 9. The GA in the top of the 6th inning had runners on 1st and 3rd with two outs and failed to score. Rudy's in the bottom of the 6th scored 1 run to make the score 10 to 9. The Angels scored 1 run in the 7th to tie the game 10 to 10. Rudy's came back and scored 1 run in the bottom of the 7th to win the game 11 to 10.

Rudy's hotdog split a doubleheader in the last games of the season. I would lik eto take the time and congratulate my team they played with so much heart it is unbelievable. They exhibited good sportsmanship good conduct in the face of defeat . They truly lived up to the mission statement of the league. They are truly a great bunch of guys and I am proud to be a part of our team



Harvard Barber Shop 12, Andy & Barney's 11


Harvard Barber Shop
After spotting A&B 8 runs in the first 3 innings, the Barbers put 7 on the board in the 4th to make it close. Down by 1 run going to the bottom of the 7th, the Barbers scored 2 to win 12-11. Led by Meyer ITPHR and a triple 5 RBI's, Dan Bolingbrook 3/4 and Jeff Koder 3/3 and big RBI single in the 7th. Great way to end the season. On to tournament next week on a high note.

Guardian Angels
In the second game of the night the GA played Rudy's Hot Dog again. The Angels managed to win the second game 10 to 9. The game was tied going into the 7th inning and Rudy's came to bat in the top of the 7th but failed to score. The Angels scored 1 in the bottom of the 7th to win 10 to 9. Both teams played good. Leading the hitting for the GA was Bill Trego 3 for 3 with 2 triples and a single. Rich Stager 3 for 4 with a inside the park HR Jim Dandar 2 for 3, Gary Ruth 2 for 3 and Jim Fedor 2 for 3 with the inning hit in the bottom of the 7th
