Harvard Barber Shop 7, Guardian Angels 13

Harvard Barber Shop
After only trailing 3-1 after three innings, the Angels put this one away scoring 8 in the next two, to win going away 13-7. The Barbers were led in hitting by Smith & Donaldson both 3/3 and Koder 2/2. The rest of the team only scratched up four more hits. Tough loss for the Barbers.

Guardian Angels
The Guardian Angels once again played good defence and defeated a good Harvard Barbershop 13-7. Leading the hitting for the Angels were Mark Keeling and Darrell Smock 3 for 3, Craig Mantey was 3 for 4, John Brubaker, Gary Ruth, Jim Nickelson, Jim Fedor were 2 for 3. Good job guys.

Citizens Advisory Group 22, Rudy's Hot Dog 12

Citizens Advisory Group
CAG put together a 32 hit game and played good enough defense to hold Rudy's to 12 runs. Citizens scored 3 runs in the 1st and 15 runs in the next 3 inning to build a big lead. Don Dheel pitched another good game and went 2/2. Hitting well for CAG were Dave Ashman 4/4, Paul Wesolowski 4/4, Mark Gedert 3/4 (with 3-2B), Rob Ravin 3/4, Bill Bray 3/4, Bill Wiseman 3/4, and Phil Vrzal 3/3.

Rudy's Hot Dog
In two games this manager would like to forget, Rudy's Hot Dog took it on the chin in a doubleheader Tuesday night. The team played very hard and did the best they could but walks are as good as a base hit and that's what killed us. Citizens advisory 22 reviews hotdog 12.

Andy & Barneys 7, Krieger Realty 19

Krieger Realty
Andy & Barney played short handed due to injuries were no match for the realtors tonight!! Every player for Krieger scored. Krieger scored 5 runs in each of the first three innings off the veteran Keefe. Krieger led by Jim C. , George Bates , Jeff Szenderski, and cleanup hitter Tim Kuszmaul all had 3 hits. Big John , Charlie Feltman , Rick Schmidt and Mike Riethmiller all had 2 hits . Watch out for the playoffs .
We ( Krieger) mercy"d Andy & Barney Beat them twice now Jerry was talking to himself after the game Doug Meeks hit a ball into the top of a pine tree behind the fence, ( and he called it to me) Gunny

Glass City 29, Rudy's Hot Dog 25

Glass City Investigations
This game proved that the sleuths can play some good ball. Scoring 29 runs and playing stellar defense proved to be the difference. Glen Lewis did a nice job in left field making several diving catches. Kevin Cagle tried his luck at pitching and did an honorable job until his split finger pitch failed him. Dave Ashman did a great job filing in as a pool player and had three hits. Jerry Glanzman had a triple over right fielders head. Bob Collins had two hits and two walks. Jay Schramm went four for five. Nick Smith had two hits and did a nice job stopping grounders up the middle. Roger Kinnersley added three hits as did Jim Steffes. Dale Knepper did a nice defensive job at first base. An all around great team effort.

Rudy's Hot Dog
In two games this manager would like to forget, Rudy's Hot Dog took it on the chin in a doubleheader Tuesday night. The team played very hard and did the best they could but walks are as good as a base hit and that's what killed us. In the night cap quested investigators 25 Rudy's hotdog 20.
