2021 LEGENDS CHAMPIONS! With Bull Moose in the lead, Sidelines Sports Eatery scored nine runs in the top of the 7th, for a 20-20 tie. Bruce Klostermeier led off the bottom of the 7th with a single, moved to third on a single by Todd Grohnke and scored the winning run on a SAC by Doug Meek. Bull Moose scores with .650 team average!

Sugar and gang from Sidelines Sport Eatery had to make it difficult for us in game two, scoring nine runs in the top of the 7th to tie the game. Bruce Klostermeier led off with a hit in the bottom of the inning and scored the winning run to secure the first ever league championship for Bull Moose. Mike LaPoint hit a bomb, Mark Clair was 4/4 and Doug Meek 3/3 to lead us to the promised land. Bob Allgier probably pulled every muscle in his body and John Correa was 3/4 with key hits. We got it done! Team leaders in batting average were Mike LaPoint .785, Tim Kuszmaul .760, Bruce Klostermeier .695, and Mike Sanders .690. Todd Grohnke led the team in home runs with 10 and Doug Meek had 7. Bob Hoffman had 3 in the park home runs. The team average was .650.League champs, boys! Great team effort all year.

2021 MASTERS LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! Ott Plumbing won the 58+ league with a 14-4 record, defeating Base Invaders in the final league game to finish one game ahead of Andy &Barney’s. Ott Plumbing scores 4 in the 7th to win!

Ott Plumbing pulled off a win to capture the the tournament championship over a very good Andy & Barney’s squad. The back and forth game came down to the bottom of the 7th inning. Ott Plumbing finished the season 17-4 capturing the league and tournament championship, don’t think that’s been done before. Great coaching job by Perry Chillus. Leading hitters Bruce Klostermier 4-4 scored 3 runs, Rich Knapp 3-4, Perry Chillus 3-4 scored 3 runs, Tom Duhart 2-2 2walks also scored the winning run, Murray Dennison 2-2 walk tied game with sac fly, Jon Berger 2-3 with 2 big RBIs, Jim VanBrant 2-4 with the game winning hit, Ed Herman 2-3, Tim Rayford 2-3 coming back from ankle surgery, Sylvester Duran, Jim Fedor with key hits and Jerry Glanzman playing hurt for the last 5 games. League and Tournament champs guys Great job, total team effort.
