WELCOME TO THE LEAGUE! Gary Downey, right, with rookie Rick Bechtel. Bechtel played in the Tuesday and Thursday leagues. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University, where he was captain of the men's Varsity tennis team and a Mid-American Conference finalist at the #1 singles position. In 2012 he was inducted into the Toledo City Athletic League Hall of Fame. The award is on display at the Seagate Convention Center.

Roy joined the SSS league in 2010. He played 3rd for Attorney C. Craig Covrette's team and finished with a 3-15 record. At Adrian College, Woodworth played first and the outfield for the baseball team. He's always been noted for having a great glove at the hot corner.

Schramm traveled South with a diversified '65-plus tournament team that included Gary Meyer, Gary Beale and Bob Collins. The ISSI event was held March 12-15 at the Myrtle Beach Astro-turf complex. The team was sponsored by Jerry Edmonson's Sidelines Sports Eatery.
