BCSN TV INTERVIEW! Greg Franke and his crew televised the June 29 game between Fricker's Black and Sidelines. Franke took the opportunity to interview the SSS President Scott Nichols. The league was created in 2008 and had ten teams the first year. Currently there are nine teams in the Thursday 50+ Legends League and nine teams in the Tuesday 58+ Masters League.

JEFF TRAUDT'S State Farm 58+ Masters League team defeated Sidelines Pub 10-8 in the tournament finals to win the Championship! In recognition of this victory, Jeff Traudt honored the team's win with a junior billboard located at Douglas and Central, 4-blocks east of Traudt's State Farm Agency.

16TH SEASON FOR FRICKER'S! The Sylvania Softball League was founded in 2008 and Fricker's, Sylvania, Ohio was the first sponsor to support the league. Opening night, players, family and friends turned out to celebrate the big "16"! Fricker's Lindsey, left, and Alex, right, greeted Fricker's players Phil Richard and Dave Obert. Lindsey has been with Fricker's for 17 years and Alex eleven.

GAME DAY FACE! Sidelines Jerry Edmunson is as tough as it gets - when it comes to pitching. Sidelines owner Edmunson joined the SSS league in 2009 and has been a league sponsor for 10-years. Sidelines Sports Bar & Eatery has nine locations. They are also a USA Patriots Amputee Softball Team sponsor.

The SSS league sponsored a Golf Outing to raise funds for the USA Patriots Kids Camp for handicapped children. Twenty-Six teams of four each competed in the annual event - the most ever!
