The 2 million dollar Huskisson Athletic Center-named after Laurie Melchior Huskisson and Jeff Huskisson who chaired the campaign to raise the funds--was dedicated March 8, 2017. The center also features the "Frickers Weight Room.

STATE FARM'S shortstop Jose Mondragon's smooth fielding set the pace for his team's first place finish in the Legends League's East Division.

SSS President Bob Collins takes the mound for Schneider Sons' Electric team on Thursdays. Bob was re-elected to a second three year term in August 2016.

ROOSTERS outfielder Rick Stager delivers with power for Greg Ballmer's team in the Legends League. Rick, the former Chief of Police for the Oregon, Ohio force is retired and plays ball in Florida in the winter. He is also a member of the 60's SSS tournament team.

MULTI-TALENTED Jim Schneider joined the SSS league in 2008 and has been taking pictures for the website since 2005. His company, Schneider Sons' Electric, sponsors a team in the Legends League on Thursday night. He also plays tournament ball with the 55's and the 60's traveling teams.

WWAST GOLF OUTING! Twenty-four players competed at the Heatherdowns Country Club on Sunday, May 15. The SSS event raised $1000 for the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball Team's charities. The award was given to Boehme in appreciation for his many years of outstanding and dedicated service on the Board of Directors. Boehme is the Chief of Police, Sylvania Township.

WINNERS! Patrick Filipek, left, won the top door prize - a $200 Miken Ultra 2 bat and Wayne Harris won $200 in the 50/50-raffle at the Sylvania Senior Softball organizational meeting, March 31. Harris donated His $200 to the Wounded Warriors, (WWAST).
