TWIN AWARDS! Ott Plumbing's Tom Duhart dominated the Tuesday league hitting 12 - homeruns and the Thursday League hitting 14 - homeruns to claim the "Sultan of Swat" title.

CHAMPAGNE CELEBRATION! The Bull Moose team celebrated winning the Legends League Championship with a champagne toast! Bull Moose defeated Sidelines Eatery in the bottom of the 7th to win 21-20. This was the first league win for Mark Clair and his team mates.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION! The USA Patriots Board of Directors, presented Chairman Jay Schramm with a special award in honor of his ten years of leadership, passion and fund raising. The Sylvania Senior Softball League plays a vital role in the success of the USA Patriots fund-raising softball tournament, golf outing and other activities. This year's games, held August 28 at Mercy Field/CYO Park, drew the largest attendance, and was the most successful. The awards dinner was held at Fricker's, Sylvania, Ohio. BATANIAN TREE SERVICE made their debut this year in the Tuesday Masters League. Sponsor/player Jeff Batanian waits on deck. The team finished with a 9-9 record.

GUARDIAN ANGELS third baseman Alan Bierbower is ready - the hot corner- is a challenge the veteran can handle. The team finished 9-9 in the Masters League.

OTT PLUMBING'S middle-infielder Rich Knapp fields a shot off the bat of Andy & Barney's Paul Wesolowski - steps on second for the out - throws to first to complete the double-play. Ott won the Masters tournament defeating A&B 18-17 in the finals.

ANDY & BARNEY'S shortstop Paul Wesolowski comes up with the ball in an 18-17 loss to Ott Plumbing in the Masters Tournament finals. Paul hit .725 for A&B, who finished second in the league with a 13-5 record.

FRICKER'S Dave Sanecki hits a bases loaded homerun in the 4th inning, good for 4-RBI in Black's 22-17 win over Fricker's Red. Sanecki was 3/4, HR, 2-D, scored 3-runs and had 6-RBI.

FRICKER'S BLACK's Dave Ashman lines a hit to left, leading off the 4th to kick-start a 5-run inning. Black defeated Terry Thomas's Fricker's Red 22-17 to improve to 11-6 in the Legends League.

FRICKER'S veteran Roy Woodworth, at the age of 80, can still "bring it" - lining a hit to right for Black in a22-17 win over Fricker's Red.

PATRICK HENRY'S Base Invaders team is spinning out of orbit at 1-4 thru June 8 in the Tuesday, Masters League. SS Archie Archibeque fights off a tough hop.

CURRENT SSS PRESIDENT Scott Nichols, right, presented Gary Meyer with a plaque honoring his nine years of service as President. Meyer was one of the original founders of the league in 2008. The league had ten teams the first year, and today boasts ten teams in the Legends League and ten in the Masters League. Meyer currently coaches and plays on Tuesdays.
