KING OF SWAT! Doug Meek with the trophy he won at the SSS Cookout/Homerun derby. Meek hit 4-out-of-10 OTFHR to win the title. He also won the homerun title with ten out for the season in the Masters Tuesday night league playing for Andy & Barney's Sports Bar.

KING OF SWAT! Fricker's David Sanecki hit 5 out of ten pitches out of the park at the SSS annual Cookout/Home-run Derby event to win the "King of Swat" title for the 50's bracket. Doug Meek won the 60's bracket with 4 out of ten pitches hit out.

A special plaque honoring his contribution and a round of applause from the players, plus the first pitch, the Fricker's chicken - who distributed gift cards for chicken wings - tipped off a gala opening night at Pacesetter Park. The SSS league was established in 2008.
