SAFE AT THIRD! Ott Plumbing's Lou Fuller beats the throw to Sidelines Carl Clark in the Legends League's finals against Sidelines Pub. Ott won the league and the tournament, finishing with a 18-1 record.

BCSN TV INTERVIEW! Greg Franke and his crew televised the June 29 game between Fricker's Black and Sidelines. Franke took the opportunity to interview the SSS President Scott Nichols. The league was created in 2008 and had ten teams the first year. Currently there are nine teams in the Thursday 50+ Legends League and nine teams in the Tuesday 58+ Masters League.

JEFF TRAUDT'S State Farm 58+ Masters League team defeated Sidelines Pub 10-8 in the tournament finals to win the Championship! In recognition of this victory, Jeff Traudt honored the team's win with a junior billboard located at Douglas and Central, 4-blocks east of Traudt's State Farm Agency.

WINNING FORM! Legends League's Louis Fuller's defensive prowess played a vital role in Ott Plumbing winning the championship with a 15-1 record in the Thursday night league at Pacesetter Park.

16TH SEASON FOR FRICKER'S! The Sylvania Softball League was founded in 2008 and Fricker's, Sylvania, Ohio was the first sponsor to support the league. Opening night, players, family and friends turned out to celebrate the big "16"! Fricker's Lindsey, left, and Alex, right, greeted Fricker's players Phil Richard and Dave Obert. Lindsey has been with Fricker's for 17 years and Alex eleven.

GAME DAY FACE! Sidelines Jerry Edmunson is as tough as it gets - when it comes to pitching. Sidelines owner Edmunson joined the SSS league in 2009 and has been a league sponsor for 10-years. Sidelines Sports Bar & Eatery has nine locations. They are also a USA Patriots Amputee Softball Team sponsor.

ANDY & BARNEY'S Paul Wesolowski, batting second, goes 2/4 against Batanian Tree Service, winning 13-8 in the Tuesday night Masters League. This is Paul's 5th year in the league - four playing for Andy & Barney's.

ANDY & BARNEY'S shortstop Alan Winzeler camps under a pop-up in a 13-8 win over Batanian Tree Service in the Tuesday, Masters League. Winzeler was 3/4, 2-runs and an RBI for the sports bar team. This is his first year in the league.

T-TIME! Gabe Barrow, left, and his son Anthony check out the fairways at Heather Downs Country Club, July 9th. The SSS league sponsored a Golf Outing to raise funds for the USA Patriots Kids Camp for handicapped children. Twenty-Six teams of four each competed in the annual event - the most ever! Darren Axon was Chairman for the event and is the club golf-pro.

OTT PLUMBING WINS LEGEND LEAGUE! Scott Nichols, left, President of the SSS League presents Ott's manager, Greg Hannibal, with the winner's trophy. Ott Plumbing won the Legends League with a 15-1 record. Hannibal hit 15 homeruns in 16 games to win the "King of Swat" title for 2023. Nichols was reelected to the SSS Board for a third term.

FRICKER'S third baseman/pitcher Matt Zuvers rips a hit against Sidelines. Zuvers hails from Adrian, MI. and this is his first year in the league. He joins a long list of talent from Adrian who has played in the league since 2008.

OTT PLUMBING's switch-hitting first baseman Tim Rayford jumps all over this pitch for a hit. Rayford played baseball for the Libbey Cowboys in the '80's. Ott won the Legends League with a 15-1 record and went undefeated to win the Tournament.

FRICKER'S premier shortstop Sherman Thomas moves to his left to field a grounder. The ultimate teammate - Thomas plays SS in the Legends League on Thursday and the outfield on Tuesdays.
