PLAY BALL! The Sylvania Senior Softball season opened late due to COVID-19. The Masters 8-team league for 58+ opened June 16 and the 8-team Legends League for 50+ June 18 at Pacesetter Park. FRICKER'S PARTY! Larry Gagin, left, and Jay Schramm sold "squares" to players on this Super Bowl game board at Fricker's Player Appreciation Party, Jan. 9. $200 was awarded per quarter, based on the score of the San Francisco 49'ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs game. 1st quarter winner: Marty Schmenk, 2nd & 3rd quarter winner: Steve Starkloff, and Matt Edinger was the 4th quarter winner! Nearly 50-players attended the event.
