STAR & STRIPES FOREVER! The Off-Broadway Dance Company stands tall and proud saluting the flag during the National Anthem at the Wounded Warriors games. The May 31 event was well-attended and offered a variety of entertainment between games.


 

BCSN TV'S Tom Cole, right, interviews SSS President Jay Schramm, prior to the Wounded Warrior games, May 31, at Ned Skeldon Stadium. Jay was the Chairman and driving force who rallied businesses, the community, and VIP'S, to bring the WW games to town.


 

WW GAMES! Ray Frick, left, Fricker's owner, joins Jeff Huskisson at Ned Skeldon Stadium, May 31. Fricker's was a major sponsor of the Wounded Warriors event. The SSS All-star team defeated the Warriors 15-7.


 

THE TOLEDO BUFFALO SOLDIERS participated in the Wounded Warrior's gala parade, May 31, Maumee, Ohio. The games were held at Ned Skeldon Stadium.

ALLSHRED SERVICES John Johnson scoops up a ground ball at the May 31 Wounded Warrior Amputee softball game at Ned Skeldon stadium. The Allshred Services tournament team defeated the Warriors in a close game.


 

MAUMEE, OHIO - Mayor Rich Carr takes a healthy cut, and bangs out a hit in the Wounded Warriors vs. the Celebrity team in May 31 action at Ned Skeldon Stadium. Mr. Carr and the city of Maumee was very supportive of the event and took a special interest in the WW fund-raiser that netted over $30,000.


 

FUN TIME! Former Detroit Tiger pitcher, John Worden, was one colorful character at the WW games, entertaining the fans.

SSS member Gary Walton sang the National Anthem at the Wounded Warriors games, May 31 at Ned Skeldon Stadium. MC Fred Lefebvre lent moral support. "Nice job Gary! Beautifully done!"


 

PLAY BALL! The Wounded Warrior Amputee softball team members are introduced at Ned Skeldon Stadium. The team was created in March , 2011, and is comprised of veteran and active -duty military who lost limbs while serving in the military.


 

MAUMEE PARADE! Jeff Huskisson and WW softball player Axel Azzissa, prepare for the parade through the streets of Maumee, Ohio. The games were held at Ned Skeldon stadium, on May 31.


 

IT'S A HIT! Mike Gallardo drives one to left in the WW games. Mike hails from San Antonio, Texas and is a US Army veteran, Operation Iraqi Freedom. Amputation: Left below knee.


 

WW GAMES! Leonard Anderson, US Air Force veteran: Operation Enduring Freedom, lines a hit to left field. Leonard's injuries include below the left elbow and partial right hand amputation. He trains Police K9 dogs in his spare time
